This revival of J B Priestley's 1912 masterpiece of Chekhovian regret and failed dreams, overshadowed by the impending horror of the trenches, mixed Edwardian music-hall with expressionistic soundscapes and soaring violin.

First produced at Northampton Royal and Derngate, it then toured nationally with English Touring Theatre.
